Heh, her age is the novels biggest facepalm fuckup, author really screwed up math on that one or he didn't have yet made plans for how plot progresses. I won't spoil the details, but I'll tell you that her age should be at most few days different that Mengyu based on how plot provides her history... and Mengyu is 16-17 years old now, while chief Tang was already chief 10 years ago since they were trying to open secret realm for decade or so... according to that she was fucking genius... at age 6 her cultivation and alchemist skills were enough to become chief of inner pill pavillion (central is higher than inner, this is where they are now)

As for what will happen to old dog? Imagine that TY kills everything when it is just a little of danger and he crossed TYs bottom line by attacking his people. Not only no one can save him, there will also be kind of funny result (Subing was not the only crime here, they also took opportunity to get rid of one elder that stood in their plans and she was executed just because she made correct but incomplete diagnose)

In regards to Mengyi and Tang Xinying, it is one of the biggest writing errors of the author. Tang Xinying is supposed to be around 150 years old while Subing is supposed to be around 48 years old while Mengyi is young 18? I cant remember but somewhere around there. So Chef Tang has a higher cultivation level than both BUT

The author probably forgot or was being very loose with the story writing since he wrote Tang Xinying was swapped with Mengyi after they were born, there wasnt a much age difference, only that the father knew Xinying isnt his daughter. Either the author was lazy when he remembered and decided to actually point out this age difference in in his novel but it wasnt never actually explained as to why, not even using the time-space artifacts, pills, trapped in a time-space area, nothing, the author didnt explain it and left it to the readers to wonder why, I just didnt bother and just left it as the author's big time mistake

And he continues this mistake and confusion by adding to story that Mengyi becomes the first princess, older than the other brothers and sisters when she is recognised as the daughter of the Tang emperor yet Tang Xinying was the ninth princess, when Xinying is supposed to be older than Mengyi, so Mengyi is supposed to be 10th princess or below not first

Still confused? I wouldnt worry about it, just remember the author made a big mistake, big time. Besides this story is still far far away,

I just dont like it when people takes what I wrote out of context and focus on certain parts of what I wrote and twist it around, I am happy to chat but when it becomes argumentative it gets annoying since all of us have better things to do and to enjoy than to come online and have an argument, there are some that loves to argue, but I am not one of them

I think u should start watching this. the animation is same but the story is good.
The only thing I don't like about this one is that it's intro and outro is too long but the other things are pretty good.
It will get interesting in the next episodes from ur point of view as u watched only some episodes and it progressed a lot

Hmm, that is kind of true and not. There is a reason why chinese martial arts stories have so few middle aged ones.

Each new cultivation level adds to life span, but it doesn't make one younger. The slower the progress, the faster the aging. And that aging in most cases happens when they encounter bottleneck. That aging process is extended each time, so they age slower and slower. But, if one progresses really fast, aging never happens.

As far as keeping young. It won't be 20-30 episodes when Tan Yun concocts (I call it like that, lol. The way Tan Yun grants them to his [to-be] wives is like Loli harem creation) "Loli pill" and you learn that method for that was long lost.

Yes, but it will not be only this sect. Very soon after this there will be competition between 4 sects where other 3 sects want to deprive this sect since it is in slump. I doubt I spoil anything if I say this... Not just 3 sects... whole continent is trying to do that. Basically >50% of elders in the sect are spies that infiltrated for that. Each clan/sect/kingdom has its own agenda here. After that is something you could as well call competition because they will be fighting in hidden area competing for opportunities.

After that, guess you'll get even more of that. Tan Yun becomes one of Holy sons in the sect and their constant competition is to become young patriarh as in next sect leader. Every other holy son/daughter is pretty much spy for his faction that wants to take over the sect and Tan Yun is the only one that is on sect side.

As far as seeing disappointed or surprised faces of elders... do not hope for that. It is not possible, but you need to read all 3 spoilers in this message. TY being talented is pressing even more urge to kill him, they infiltrated the sect for takeover, they can't afford to use unstable element and if he is not with them... he should die and the more capable he is, the more he must die
